Program Introduction
The Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Management Technology - Professional Flight at ASU provides comprehensive education to prepare students for successful careers as professional pilots in the aviation industry. This program combines flight training with in-depth knowledge of aviation management, aviation safety, and air operations to prepare for various roles in the aviation field. As a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) designated program, international students are eligible for extended OPT (Optional Practical Training) benefits, allowing them to gain up to 36 months of practical experience in related fields in the United States after graduation. Students receive professional flight training at an FAA-certified flight school, complementing theoretical knowledge with practical experience in real aircraft operating environments. They also have opportunities to network with aviation industry professionals and prepare for careers with airlines, corporate flight departments, aviation management agencies, and other aviation-related professions.
