Listen to sentences and repeat them clearly
You hear 7 sentences within a short academic or campus-life scenario and must repeat each sentence exactly once. Sentences become progressively longer and more complex as the task continues, and you have a limited time (about 8–12 seconds) to record each response. This task measures foundational speaking skills, including accurate listening and intelligibility. Scoring focuses on how accurately you reproduce the original sentence and how clearly your speech can be understood.

Answer interview questions in a simulated conversation
You participate in a simulated interview with a prerecorded interviewer across everyday and academic contexts. You respond to four questions, with 45 seconds to answer each one. The interview begins with questions about your personal experiences or simple information and gradually moves toward questions that require you to share opinions and explain your reasoning. This task evaluates how effectively you organize your ideas, maintain a natural speaking rhythm, and communicate your message clearly using appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation in a conversational format.
